Obituary of Brock Lee McLellan

McLellan – Brock Lee, of Herbert, SK, passed away after a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current with his family by his side.  

Brock was born on July 7, 1959 at Flin Flon, MB. His family moved a lot when he was growing up as his dad worked for the railway. Some of the jobs Brock had throughout his life were autobody, welding, carpentry and working for the RM operating heavy machinery.

Brock married Cheryl Cornelson on October 19, 1984 in Saskatoon, SK. They had one son, Morgan who was born April 17, 1986. He is survived by his loving wife Cheryl, son Morgan, his sisters Mylinda (Tim) Isaac, Cyndy (Matt) Fairbrother; brother Durwin (Maxine) and many nieces and nephews, as well as his father-in-law Ernie Cornelson, in-laws Karen (Ron) Lasota and Wendell (Tracy) Cornelson and families.

He was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Shirley McLellan; mother-in-law Olga Cornelson; grandparents Eric & Veda Ekstrom and Archie & Minie McLellan.

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gouldtown Cemetery. The honorary and active pallbearers were: Jason Lasota, Greg Lasota, Brandon Lasota, Ryan Cornelson, Tyler Cornelson, Cody Cornelson, Rylan Isaac, Corey Isaac, Alex McLellan, Steven McLellan, Avery Fairbrother, Lucas Martel and Eric Martel. The funeral arrangements are in care of Parkside Memorial Funeral Home – Ryan Cappelle & Hayden Cappelle.
