Obituary of Jasmine Johnston
Jasmine Rene (Fast) Johnston, age 34, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2025 at the Clover House in Swift Current Saskatchewan. Jasmine is survived by her two sons Gage and Hudson, her sister Morgan Fast, (Dakota Perrault) and nephews Kydin and Jaylin, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jasmine is also survived by her loving supportive Val Marie family, Roderick and Janine Perrault, their children Renée, (Brent Hackney) and their children, Chloe, Lucas, Noah, and Olivia; Jason and his son Oliver. Jasmine was predeceased by her mother Wanda Fast in 2003 and her Aunt Shirley and Uncle Jim Dyck whom she lived with after her mom's passing. Jasmine graduated from the Swift Current Comprehensive High School in 2008 and joined the workforce. She enjoyed various jobs. Her first one was at West Bank Bible camp as a counsellor. Other jobs included Tim Hortons, Bootlegger and Brew Pub. A few years later she attended the Cypress Hills Community College and received a certificate as a Continuing Care Assistant. She worked for a time at The Meadows and was in Med-surg at the Cypress Regional Hospital in Swift Current at the time of her passing. Anyone who knew Jasmine, knows that she had a huge family of friends wherever she went. She had a heart of gold and enjoyed life to the fullest . Her boys Gage and Hudson were her pride and joy. She will be greatly missed.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Med-surg, Women's/Children's Ward, Swift Current Regional Hospital and Clover house for their care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Eastside Church of God with Pastor Kevin Snyder officiating. Arrangements are in care of Parkside Memorial Funeral Home – Ryan Cappelle & Hayden Cappelle.
