SAWATZKY – Roger, 59 passed away July 16th, 2017 in Swift Current, Sk. He was born January 22, 1958 in Swift Current to parents John and Lena Sawatzky. He is survived by his wife Gloria and daughter Raelle, parents John and Lena, and brother Gerald (Maureen) and his nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Bryan Sawatzky. Roger was kind and was easy going in his approach to life. He loved the family farm and being outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping and gardening were some of Rogers many hobbies. Roger had a great sense of humor, and always affectionately had a nickname for friends and family. He was employed at department of highways where he loved driving truck. Thank you to Herman Wiebe for officiating at the graveside.     Very sorry to hear about this he was a good church friend . Very high energy and a great sense of humour . Was invited to his farm a few times – had a really good time trying to milk a cow and catching frogs in a pond in the coulee. All the best wishes to family. God bless .

    Does time heal -i have a difficult time processing these announcements when our children die too young.We have lived our lives and wish the same for our children.I try to concentrate and good memories and there are many.I know Rodgers family well may you find some comfort during a very difficult time which we don’t understand
